Finally sharing everything I wore during my family vacation out west! Plus as an added bonus, I’m also sharing the essentials that make traveling a breeze.

While all my looks have been uploaded to LTK, I know some readers don’t use the app and instead shop via the blog (THANK YOU!). Because of that, I figured I’ll share all of my looks from the Lake Tahoe trip here on Fabulously Average in an attempt to make it easier for everyone. Plus, I want to chronical everything I wore during that magical trip out west!

Romper | Cardigan | Sneakers (c/o) | Sunglasses | Bag (c/o – old)

I love this romper and it came in clutch for day one of exploring and dinner with the family. While the temps were mild, it did get chilly at night which is why the cardigan was needed. Y’all already know how I feel about these sneakers. I wore them to death during the trip.

Sweater | Shorts | Sneakers (c/o) | Belt Bag

We rode the gondola to Heavenly Mountain Resort so I wanted an outfit that could keep me both warm and cool – a lightweight sweater and shorts fit the bill. I snagged these shorts right before my trip. They are super comfortable and I love the button fly detail.

Dress | Sneakers (c/o)

This dress is was one of my favorite purchases of the summer but unfortunately, I waited until the end to wear it. Rookie move. I love that it’s lightweight and flowy, and the smock detail is darling and so on-trend.

Chambray | Shorts | Sandals | Belt Bag

We set a day aside to do a fishing excursion during our trip. Immediately Kevin got motion sickness and our guide had to drop us off at a marina on the other side of town. We hung out for a while, had lunch, enjoyed a cup of coffee then took a 2 hour Uber ride back to where we were staying. It wasn’t the best day but a comfy outfit of shorts, sandals, and a chambray made things a little easier.

Tee | Shorts | Sandals | Belt Bag

We went kayaking on this particular day and I wanted something simple yet comfortable. I snagged these shorts while they were on sale and I’m so happy I did. I love the cheery color and the fit is great!

Long Sleeve | Leggings | Sneakers | Belt Bag

It wasn’t always glamorous. In fact, most of the trip was spent in leggings and this lightweight workout top I purchased right before we left to Tahoe. Every morning I would take a long walk in the words and some variation of this is what I wore. These are the infamous Amazon legggins that I couldn’t recommend enough.

Sweater | Dress | Sandals | Bag

The one and only date night of the trip. I paired my favorite dress with a knit sweater for the chilly evening. This was the perfect outfit for dinner on the water while watching the sunset.

I wish I would have gotten a better picture of this dress. This is what I wore on the last night in Tahoe for dinner with the family. It was comfortable yet girly and that’s exactly what I was looking for to say goodbye to Tahoe.

As an added bonus, I thought it would beneficial to also share some of my travel must-haves. Something I’ve learned over the last couple of trips is that organization is key. Not only that, but also that having some tiny comforts while traveling is nice, i.e. having items that make the whole process easier is necessary.
