Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week? I’m floored at how fast the month of November has come and almost gone. Where did it go? I thought I had all month to prepare for my East Coast visit, but apparently I only have a week. Let the mental planning at my cubical commence.

As stated, next week K and I are headed East to Virginia for Thanksgiving with our families. Last year K’s parent came to Arizona and I cooked the Thanksgiving feast. It was my first go around and I have to say, it was quite successful. I might need to post my infamous green bean and bleu cheese recipe, it’s epic and very delicious. I also have a great recipe for pecan bars. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

Anyways, this outfit is from Tuesday. It really reminds me of Thanksgiving and I’m considering re-wearing it for the festive day (styled differently of course). It’s simple and hides my belly enough to eat my little heart out. I’m definitely looking forward to turkey skin, dark meat and turkey drippings all over my plate. YUM.
