I’ve come to realized that not all nude lipsticks are the same. Nude comes off differently on all skin tones, whether you’ve got a deep skin tone, have fair skin or have an olive complexion like myself – nudes lipsticks aren’t always considered nudes across the board.

I think you can say I have a thing for nude lipsticks. Neutral shades just speak to me and I’ve curated quite the collection, if I do say so myself. Specifically for my olive skinned chica’s, today I wanted to share my tried and true favorites that bring out the warmth in our yellowish complexion! After tons of trial and error, I’ve narrowed it down to my top 10 nude lipsticks that are perfectly compatible with olive skin! From brownish/beige-y nudes to pinky/muavey neutrals, my picks are a perfect match! Bonus, most of the lipsticks included are drug store finds!

1. Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Elusive – this shade is the most pinkiest of the punch. The color is close to a bubble gum pink but works with an olive skin tone. The formula of this lipstick is a creamy matte.
2.  Maybelline Color Sensational Inti-Matte Nudes in Almond Rose – this one is an almond/mocha shade. It’s not deep, just the perfect tan nude. The formula is really hydrating and creamy.
3. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Touch of Spice – this is my favorite neutral lipstick! It accentuates my lips with a purplish/muave undertone, and the formula is a creamy satin.
4. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Blushing Muave  – the formula of this lipstick is very creamy. The color is a more sheer purplish muave.
5. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Clay Crush – this shade is the most nude of the bunch. It’s a sandy, pinky peach, and like all the Color Sensational Creamy mattes, it has a satin finish to it.
6. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Nude Nuance – this iipstick is the perfect combination of brown and muave. It’s rich and very satin-y.
7. Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Glace – again, the formula of this lipstick is amazing. If someone were to describe the perfect muave, this color would be it. It is a pinkish/purpley shade.
8. Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Chai – Bite Beauty has my favorite lipstick formula. It’s creamy and soo hydrating! This shade is a brownish muave with a hint of pink.
9. Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Delish – This color is pretty close to the ‘Nude Nuance’ shade in that it reads more purplish/muave. The formula is really matte and is long lasting.
10. OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Pasadena – this is another brand that has a steller formula. The shade is a pinky muave with a hint of peach.
