The white Steve Madden boots and this dress were the items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I was most excited about! The silhouette and the colors of this dress just speak to me, but I’m really eager to find different ways to style it up year around. It may be a little bold for me to say this, but I think this may be the perfect dress! Well almost, it’s missing pockets;) Unfortunately the dress is currently sold out but this Chelsea28 one is similar and so beautiful!
This is your PSA that the NSale ends on Sunday, August 5! Come next Monday, all sale items get marked back up and the Anniversary Sale hysteria will officially die down. Praise! While I broke my promise of limiting my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts to just one, I am proud that I didn’t completely bombard y’all with sale content. If you read style blogs and follow style bloggers on social media, we can collectively agree that the sale promotion was/is at an all-time high. But don’t worry, friends, it’ll end soon enough, which for me is actually a good thing. Good because I won’t have to see bloggers wearing fall layers in 100 degree weather (let’s be real, this will go on regardless) and because I’ll be forced to stop buying from the sale (my wallet will thank me!). I’m actually working on a post all about what I learned from my first foray in the NSale madness. Stay tuned for that!

Can I be candid with y’all? I loath when people say that they only wear certain items in their closets a specific way, limiting said item and it’s potential for wardrobe greatness! If you’re new around here, I tend to veer towards the dramatics, but bear with me, I have a point. I really want show y’all how you can wear this dress for all occasions – from the office, to quality time with the fam, and even for a fun date night come Fall! The possibilities are endless and I want to encourage y’all to get more millage out of your closet – hello, the Wardrobe Remix series has a purpose! Also, I’ve been getting a few questions about the other things I purchased for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Instead of pulling together a post with a try-on on those items, I figured I’d just share them and if y’all have any questions regarding sizing just let me know! I’d been eyeing this jumpsuit for a while but it kept going out of stock. I finally got lucky and ordered it in a small. It fits okay so I’m debating on whether or not returning it. This is the perfect graphic tee. Period. This blouse is a modern take on a classic. So beautiful! I spotted these slacks in store and couldn’t resist. They are are perfect for work but and I could totally see pairing them with sneakers for the weekend. And I absolutely love these slingback mules!! I’m really contemplating snagging them in the taupe shade but I don’t need anymore shoes. I can always get them at sale price and return them if I change my mind… All in all everything fits true to size!
