I dreamt* about this outfit on a Thursday and woke up the following Friday excited to recreate it in real life. I surveyed my closet and realized I had all the making of my dream outfit, literally. That Saturday the fella wanted to go out to dinner so I knew exactly what I’d be wearing. Isn’t is a dream come true when the pieces of an outfit come together without a hitch? As I began layering this look I realized that yes, each items goes perfectly with the next. Too matchy matchy? Maybe, but this is the stuff that dreams are made of my friends. Props to my subconscious for getting this right.

* According to Google this is how you spell the passed tense of dream. I thought it was drempt but I got one of those squiggly lines telling me I was wrong. You live and you learn, friends.
