The Best Eyeliners

I’ve tried my share of eyeliners. From the standard pencil, to automatics, to gels, liquids, and felt tip liners, I know my stuff. I have been officially putting on makeup since I was maybe 15 so I’ve gone through many of the stuff stocked on the shelves at your local drugstore. In that almost 15 year span I have established a spectrum of some of the worst and best eyeliner available in stores, so today I thought I would pass on my knowledge to the other equally makeup obsessed ladies out there.

// MAC Fluidline – I feel like this is the most professionally used eyeliner of the bunch. Its very pigmented but isn’t long lasting for a full day without smudging.

// Maybelline Lasting Drama by EyeStudio Gel Liner – A pretty great alternative to the MAC version mentioned, this liner is great for what its worth in stores.

// Milani Eye Tech BOLD Liquid Eyeliner – I love the thickness of the  felt tip and if you’re looking for the perfect winged eye this pencil does the trick.

// – Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner – Forever and for always will be my ‘go-to’ of the bunch. Long lasting, creates a dramatic eye, and super easy to use. The pigment is pretty spot on and its long lasting.

// Milani Ultra Fine Liquid Eyeliner – If your a looking for a great everyday liquid liner this ones pretty good. Light lash line material and long lasting.

// – Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner – Like the Milani Ultra Fine liner, this one is super easy to apply along the lash line but I would say this is for a night out rather than everyday.

// Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen – This would probably be my second favorite of the group. Incredibly easy to apply and you can create both an everyday look and a dramatic winged eye without much effort.

// Rimmel Special Eyes Precision Eye Pencil – I typically stay away from the standard eyeliner pencil but this Rimmel one is rather easy to glide on, although I must say it runs after a couple of hours.

// Benefit’s They’re Real! Push Up Liner – It’s as good as everyone says it is. Applies right along the lash line with ease, smudge resistant, and great for a winged eye. The one con I would say is that it takes forever to come out which results in over twisting and then you’ve got too much and have to start over.

// Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner – I had to include an automatic pencil into the bunch, and this ones pretty great. Perfect for creating a daytime smoky look without going overboard.
