Cookout Attire

With Memorial Day gone, we have finally experienced the unofficial start of Summer which coincidentally also brought Summer weather with it! I don’t hate it! For the first cookout of the season, I thought I’d keep my look hella simple and call it a day. I knew I’d be running after a toddler for most of the evening, so I opted for an easy cotton dress with a somewhat patriotic print. I’ve been scouring my Maternity Style archives for some inspiration lately and stumbled across this look from my first pregnancy. Thankfully this dress wasn’t packed away with my lost maternity wardrobe (because it’s non-maternity) so I plucked it out of my closet and rejoiced in the fact that it was just as comfortable as I had remembered. Also, something cool about this look and the one from three summers ago? Both show my 25 week bumps!
