Hello lovely friends and happy Monday! I hope each and every one of you had a marvelous weekend. With a short week at the office last week (only Wed-Fri), I apparently wanted to experience a long weekend, a la my college self. So on Thursday night I met up with my new friend Angela for the 14th Annual Femme Fatal- Ladies Only Holiday Cocktail Party. While those who attended were a little older than both Angela and I, it was a lot of fun and a great opportunity for networking.

I met a handful of delightful women, many whom competed and won Ms Senior Arizona pageants. And man, were they dressed to the nines! There was a lot of glitter and a lot of sequence. I also got the great pleasure of meeting Jackie, image consultant, stylist and good friends with Angela. She was pretty fabulous and I see a budding friendship in our future. Hi Jackie!

On to my outfit. While at work that day, I was going through my closet as if it were a rolodex. I had narrowed it down to two options but when I got home I completely changed my mind and went with this little gray number. Because it was really chilly out that night I paired it with patterned tights and a blazer for good measure. While I might have been a tad bit underdressed I was happy with my selection.

The rest of my weekend was spent putting up Christmas decorations around the house, cleaning, doing laundry and relaxing with the fella. It was a good weekend overall.
