Whoa, 13 years!

So today the fella and I are celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. Thankfully, we are lucky enough to have my in-laws watch the kids for a few days so that we can enjoy a kid-free weekend. We aren’t doing one of our usual trips – we’ve been to Portland, Asheville, Charleston, and Denver, among other destinations – but instead  going into the city (D.C) to play tourists and eat our way around town.

I’m mainly excited to spend some alone time and get back to us. It’s a rare occasion when we can spend time to ourselves so I’m hoping to do ALL THE THINGS! Perhaps we visit a museum or two, eat at our favorite restaurants, and maybe catch a movie.

Anyways, here’s to 13 years! May we continue to not sweat the small stuff, prioritize each other, and laugh together through all the chaos!
