Seriously, let’s not call this a comeback.
Howdy y’all, it’s be a while huh. Well consider this my reentry to blogging…I think. I’ve been away from the blog because, well, life. I got a new job, I began writing a book, and basically other things became a priority.
But recently, I considered hanging in the towel and letting go of Fabulously Average. However, the more I thought about it, the more I got sad that I was going to step away from the creative outlet I leaned in to for so many years. 12 years to be exact.
I almost gave up, but I love this little corner of the internet and want to give it another go.
In the time I’ve been away, funny enough, I’ve let Instagram also fall to the way side, too. It’s become a place where the algorithm spews out you content willy nilly and if you’re lucky, your followers actually get to see your content. And well, my content isn’t being seen.
I have, however, really leaned into sharing my outfits and get ready with me videos over on TikTok. I’ve built a little community of friends and have really enjoyed talking through my outfit planning process. It’s a fun place for me to let out my creative juices when it comes to my personal style.
But let’s get back to this here blog and how I’m hoping to show up. Long story short – I don’t really know how I’ll be approaching blogging moving forward. I do know I want to diversify my content a bit more. I’d like to share more life focused content and of course my daily looks. How often will I show up, again, I’m not quite sure. But only time will tell. As I reenter this space, please be patient with me.
So are we calling this a Fabulously Average blog relaunch? Perhaps. I’d like to give this site a little facelift so we’ll see how that goes.
