My Top 8 Serums

Next up in the mini series on the skincare product I love is serums. Let’s go!

My Top 8Serums

If you missed it, a few months ago I kicked off this mini series by sharing my top 8 cleansers. I take my skincare game seriously which is why I thought this beauty series would be a fun one to create and share some of my favorite products.

If you’re new around here, my motto is that you’re never too young to take your skincare seriously., My skincare arsenal is extensive, I’ve got your cleansers, your eye creams, your serums, and everything in between. That means I know what I like and what I don’t like.

As part of that series, today I’m’ going to be sharing about my favorite serums. I read somewhere recently that serums are the medicine of the skin, i.e. you’re injecting active ingredients right where it matters. Depending on what you’re looking to do – reduce fine lines, brightening, or hydrating – applying products with active ingredients offer a more targeted way to get the good stuff on your skin. So let’s get right to it!

My Top 8 Serums

Sweet Chef Ginger Vitamin C Serum Shot – This is the newest serum to my collection and might I say it might be my favorite?! I slather this on every morning, it’s the first product that touches my skin after cleansing it. Vitamin C is already a must have ingredient for the skin, but add ginger and you’ve got yourself the dynamic duo! I love that this product hydrates and brightens my skin.

Story Skincare Serum – I recently shared about this serum in this review post. I’m a big fan of this product! After application my skin feels smooth and tight. I like to use it in the morning kind of like a primer because my skin is left a little tacky which I love for makeup application. No joke, I think I’ve notice an improvement to the complexion of my skin since I’ve started the serum.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 – If you’re looking for some serious glow, you’re in luck! I’ve noticed a major change in my skin as it relates to how oily I used to get. I use this once or twice a week at night and have noticed how my face now appears dewy versus oily. This product definitely locks in moisture.

Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum – This is another product I dedicated a review to (read it here). If you’re not familiar with niacinamide, basically it’s a holy grail ingredient that reduces texture, pores, and does wonders for your overall complexion. This serum is a gamechanger, folks! I used to solely use this product as part of my night time skincare routine but I’ve since incorporated it to my morning routine. It leaves my skin is supple, soft to the touch, an oh so bright. All that for only $6 – A STEAL!

Inner Balance Serum – Yet another product I have a review for (read it here). After application of this serum, I kid you not, my skin feels like butter! It literally feels balanced and smooth and has a blurring effect to it. Plus, this smells soo good. According to the description, it reduces inflammation, hydrates, and promote cell regeneration – all good things!

Tula Deep Wrinkle Serum – I was surprised to like this product because of the hype around the brand. This serum helps improve the look of wrinkles and fine lines. Some of the ingredients include  blueberries, chicory root, apple extract, and probiotics which is all good for the skin – anti-inflammatory!

Sdara Vitamin C Serum – Not only is this product is so great for healing skin but it’s also brightening, and helping lessen the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I love how hydrating it is and noticeably has made my skin look younger and fuller.

Kypris Antioxidant Dew Serum – This stuff is pricey which I’m happy I got it as a gift with purchase. Meant to restore radiance and elasticity, I love that this product actually soothes my skin. I like to apply this product at night.
