FabAve Turns 10

Celebrating, reflecting, and trying to come back with the same enthusiasm as the last 10 years have allowed.

It would be remiss not to acknowledge the fact that a few weeks ago Fabulously Average turned 10 years old. That’s 10 years of consistent blogging 3-5 times a week, 10 years of outfit posts, and 10 years of adventures. If you’ve been on this journey with me the entire time, you’ve seen first hand my growth – as a mom, a content creator, a woman – it’s crazy I’ve been at this for so long!

Initially, when looking back at the last decade, I compared my growth to that of the women that began their journey in blogging during the same time I did. And friends, that’s not the right way to reflect on the space that I’ve created here. So I sat down and went through FabAve archives- man is there a lot of content to sort through!? From travel, to beauty, to motherhood, and even the occasional recipe – Fabulously Average has taken on many forms and here we are, 10 years later – and still swinging.

But I have to be honest. The last few weeks have been hard for me to show up here. I’m lacking inspiration and drive to share content, and it pains me to put this little corner of the internet on the back burner. I’m trying to take this time to determine if Fabulously Average should go on. I want be show up here, running on all cylinders, and not half assing it like I have been. So while I may not post as often as I have in the past, I’ll show up where I can. I know I just have to gather inspiration to bring you the best content and share the way I have in the past.

It has been a crazy 10 years. I’ve grown and evolved so much In the last decade. But I wanted and need to thank you! For showing up and being part of this space. Whether you’ve been here all 10 years or if you’re new to the FabAve community – thank you so much for your support. Here’s to new adventures!
