In an effort to give myself a little motivation, I figured I’d do the same for you! We gotta start somewhere, am I right? // Listen to a self help podcast. Podcasts are always a good idea but especially so in the self help category. I shared a few of my favorite motivational one’s in this post, but if you’re not into podcasts, can I interested you in an audiobook? Here are 5 that will encourage you to live your best life.
// Take a mental assessment. When I’m feeling out of sorts, I like to take stock of where I am mentally. Here’s a self-care checklist for when you’re feeling blah and need to pin-point the problem.
// Go for a walk. This might sound simple but you’d be surprise what a little fresh air can do for your mood. Sure, it’s a little chilly outside but even if it’s a quick stroll around you’re block, a walk can help clear your mind. This is also a great time to think about your goals for the day, the month, or even the year;)
// Sweat it out. In the same vein as taking a walk, working out and leaving it all out on the floor is an endorphin booster of the best kind.
// Organize. If your space is cluttered, your mind will follow suite. Clean out your closet, the kitchen cabinets, or the basement. The tidy space encourages a tidy mind.
