It was due time that I wore this dress for fall. The last time you saw this polka dot stunner was back in March when I styled it two different ways. You can peep that post here. I love how cozy this sweater is especially paired alongside the slit of this dress. Styling a chunky knit over dresses is one of my favorite fall styling hacks, it allows you to create so many looks. Y’all know how I feel about wardrobe versatility.

So here’s the deal, it’s important to note where the sweater hits when layering one over a dress. Personally, I like to either wear cropped sweaters or longer, tunic-length ones. For today’s pairing I went with a medium length sweater but altered it by belting the sweater and creating a defined waist. If you haven’t noticed, one of my go-to’s is creating an hourglass shape.

As I sit hear, writing out this post, I’m already envisioning more fall looks with this dress. To carry it through into winter I’m thinking of pairing tall boots with it and maybe throwing on a chunky turtleneck sweater and a belt. However, I like the idea of keep the length of the sweater for more dimensions. I guess you’ll have to come back to check that look out;)
