I love a good printed mini, especially this time of the year. Something about the juxtaposition of a short skirt and a chunky sweater makes my heart happy. As a tall gal, finding mini’s that aren’t necessarily mini is an art I take very seriously. When I stumbled upon this stunner from Modcloth a few weeks ago, I instantly fell in love. Like, how cute is she?! The colors are perfect for fall and the length is short without making me feel like I’m risking showing my nether regions. FYI – that’s a win in tall girl land.

Let’s set the record straight, tall girls can wear mini skirts and not look like a hoe. There, I said it. One thing I’ve learned in my many years of being a tall gal is that, as far as miniskirts go, the best type for a tall girl are straight-cut styles. This style still allows you to show off your legs but still look classy. I kinda talked about finding the perfect short dresses for tall girls a few months back (read that post here) but the same rules apply for skirts.
