Coronavirus or not, the highly anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going down in 2020. Unlike years prior where the sale falls on the tale end of July, this year the sale was pushed back to accommodate a global pandemic, go figure. All jokes aside, the “sale of the season” is one of my favorite things about summer and I’m here to share with y’all what’s to come.
This year the #NSale will run from August 19-30. Like always, early access for cardholders will run a few days before (beginning Aug. 13) and everything goes back full price on Aug. 31. If the sale hypes you up as much as it does everyone else (totally fine if it doesn’t) here’s what you’ll need to know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
WHAT: It pains me to admit it but the sale is actually worth all the hype. Nordstrom offers both fall and select summer fashion, accessories, and products on major discounts for a limited time. Shoppers are able to score some killer designer items without paying full-price.
WHEN: Select cardholders get early access beginning August 4 (Icon members). The sale opens up to non-cardholders on August 19 and ends August 30.
HOW: Wondering how you can get in on the action early? You’ll want to apply for the Nordstrom card which is totally free and easy!

I do plan on shopping the sale during the presale period. Like previous years, I anticipate doing a “Sale Picks” post, but I’m not sure if I’ll be sharing much after that. There have been years where I’ve done major damage and I really hope to avoid that this summer. I’m setting a budget, creating a list of “needs” and “wants” and hoping that I shop responsibly. But all the planning in the world doesn’t guarantee that I won’t go ham in 2020, but we shall see.
