Let’s just jump right in – HOW ARE Y’ALL DOING? We are officially in week 7 of quarantine and as I’ve shared before, I have moments where I honest to goodness think I’m going crazy. But, I can easily flip the coin and have times I feel completely content with my life. My emotions are everywhere. However, I’m certain I’m not the only one feeling this way. It’s reassuring to know that what we’re doing, staying home to keep our family and the world safe, is working. Sure, it may not be working as quickly as we’d like, and confirmed cases are still climbing, but imagine if we went about life as usual – things can be a lot worse.
2020 will be quite the year to look back on, am I right? So much has been put on pause, for everyone, and we’re feeling all the things. And really, that’s okay. It’s okay to feel scared and grateful, depleted and hopeful – it’s okay to feel all the feels. There is no right or wrong way to be living in our current reality. So, as I write that for me, I also writing it for you.
Where do we go from here? Honestly, I don’t really know but I do know that we can continue to live our lives day by day. Pause, take a breath, and take stock of the life you don’t want to go back to. Instead, envision the one you after all this is over and start making strides to live it now. Maybe not full-blown strides, cause quarantine, but we can still be the best version of ourselves now.
