*Important Note: Weird to be posting normal content when the world seems to be falling apart, right? If follow me on Instagram, then you followed along the process of me contemplating sharing content during such uncertain times. After countless messages and reassurances, the FabAve community has spoken. Y’all want an escape from the scariness around us and I hear you, so do I! So, I’ll continue to post for a sense of normalcy but will also try and include some relevant posts to help us all get through the unknown, together. In case you missed it, I talked about how I managed week 1 of social distancing here if you want to give that a read.

A few weeks ago I shared a spring dress try-on from Target (catch that post here). This stunner wasn’t featured in that post because it wasn’t available in my size when I filmed the try-on. However, while randomly paroozing my local Target (right before social distancing became life) I came across this dress in my size…and wow. You better believe I scooped it up with the quickness!

How darling is this dress?!? I instantly fell in love with the color, which is normally not my vibe. And the polka dots – so cute and fun! For today’s blog post, I thought it would be fun to share two different ways I’d style this dress for spring. One look is geared towards wedding attire while the other would be great for brunch with girlfriends. And while it might be some time before we get to enjoy activities of togetherness like weddings and boozy brunches, I think putting those vibes out into the world might be a great way to speak it into existence. Fingers crossed;)

Really, there are tons of other ways I’d wear this dress year-round. I can already envision an oversized navy crewneck sweater and booties for fall or maybe some easy flats and a cardigan for dinner with family. It would even be great with strappy sandals and a hat for vacation. All that to say – this dress is going to definitely be on heavy rotation when things snap back to normal. Whenever that may be.
