A Kids Snack Idea with PAW Patrol™ String Cheese

Please tell me my household isn’t the only one consumed by all things PAW Patrol™?! Chase, Marshall, and Skye run things at Casa de Mason and it has been this way for the last three years now. Luckily, I don’t mind the brave pups + they’ve given me a fun way to get my kids excited for snack time!

My kids are in the stage when snacks are king. While grocery shopping at my local Walmart recently, I stumbled upon PAW Patrol™ String Cheese and immediately got the, “I want it, I want it” from the little ones. When I checked the nutritional information, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it has 6 grams of protein, 0 grams of sugar and is made with milk! A good source of calcium is always a winner in my book so into my cart the PAW Patrol String Cheese went.

In an attempt to provide healthier snacking options, I’ve started getting creative with the presentation, enter Paw Print Pizza Bites! These have become the perfect afternoon snack + they are super easy to assemble.

Paw Print Pizza Bites

What you’ll need:

PAW Patrol™ String Cheese
Crackers
Pepperoni
1/4 cup of marinara sauce (heated)
A straw

Directions:

Thinly slice a PAW Patrol String Cheese stick
With a straw, punch out a few smaller circles
To build the pizza bites, begin by smearing a bit of the warm marinara sauce on a cracker then place a pepperoni slice on top. With the cut-out PAW Patrol String Cheese pieces, make a paw print. Repeat then eat!

The kids go crazy over these pizza bites! Not only does Theo love the packaging of the PAW Patrol String Cheese with each of his favorite characters on it, but he also loves the taste and is constantly asking for more! A good source of calcium and protein? That’s a mom win if I’ve ever seen one!
