A look at what I’m packing for a much-needed long weekend with the gals!
The day has arrived! Today I am off on a mini girls getaway just outside of Harrisonburg, VA with a handful of my besties to enjoy some time away from our families (and responsibilities) and to spend some much-needed girl time together. If I were able to explain my excitement with y’all, I would, but I can’t begin to put into words how much I need this trip.
My core group of friends, all of which are my sorority sisters, are women I have grown to call my extended family. They’ve seen me at my best, at my worst – they’ve seen my evolution in real-time. We all have our own lives, spouses, kids, work woes, you name it. Not to mention, many of us don’t live in the same area, so getting all of us together is always a big to-do which is why this trip 3-day trip has been months in the making.
What I’m Packing for my Girls Weekend
To be honest, we don’t really have anything planned as far as an itinerary. We’re staying in the southern end of Massanutten Mountain so there isn’t much to do. We may hit up a winery on our one full day, but other than that no real plans. Because of this, I’m packing a really remixable/capsule-like weekender.
Since we’re still experiencing warmer days, unfortunately, my fall wardrobe isn’t really coming with me. My weekender will mainly consist of a few classic basics, some light layers, and maybe one standout piece because who am I kidding.
Notes, some of the items depicted and linked are similar to ones packed, a few are older items no longer available.
