Abercrombie Try-On

“I like girls that wear Abercrombie and Fitch, I’d take her if I had one wish. But she’s been gone since that summer, since the summer.”

Well, well look who’s back! Man, it’s been a hot minute since the last try-on haul made it to the blog. I like to try to have one of these at least once a month but it seems that my goal escaped me for the summer. However, now that the unofficial start of fall is here, try-on’s for everyone?! Jk, jk. For the first Shop with Me post of the season, I’m excited to be bringing you one from Abercrombie and Fitch! Don’t let high school memories deceive you, A&F is killing it! I love their denim and the fact that you can filter by size and see a model in the desired size. Plus they have reasonable prices which is always good!

*For sizing reference, I’m 5’8″ with a pear-shaped frame. I’m currently a size 6/28/S-M.

Short-Sleeve Satin Shirt – I loved the feel of this top and it fit surprisingly well. The material is soft and delicate plus I liked that it looked great knotted. Fit is true to size, I’m wearing a small.

Knit Midi Skirt – One of the biggest trends this season for skirts and dresses is a slit and I AM HERE FOR IT! I loved that this skirt was knit which made it perfect for dressing it up or down. Because it was knit made it super perfect for fall, too. I’m wearing a medium but could have gone down to a small. Needless to say, this went home with me.

Cropped V-Neck Cardigan – Another big trend for fall and winter is cropped cardigans button to the top and worn like a sweater. This sweater almost went home with me but I wasn’t willing to pay full price for more than two items so I passed. Waiting for it to go on sale! Fit is impeccable (true to size), slouchy but fitted which is perfect for the fall. Soft and not itchy, too.

Cami Chiffon Midi Dress – This dress, in theory, is cute but they only had a small which is why it didn’t fit well. I’m wearing a small and would definitely suggest sizing up if you have curves. This dress is a true wrap dress, so you’ll need to keep that into account, however, the print was beautiful for the season.

Side-Slit Midi Dress – You already know how I feel about a good slit and the color of this dress is the perfect mauve, so you know it went home with me. The best part, I got it on sale for $19 – WIN! Slip dresses are another big trend from the 90s I’m really into so this dress was a dream for me. I’m wearing a large because it was the only one in stock instore but I think I could have worn a medium comfortably too.

Cable Knit Dolman Sweater – Leopard print so you know I had to try it on! Lucky for you it comes in solid colors, too! This was super soft and cozy and I love that the shoulder could be worn slouchy. I’m wearing a medium for reference.

High Rise Super Skinny Jeans “Faded Black” – I loved the faded detail of these jeans, and the fit was great. However, I think they were a little too cropped for me. As a reminder, I’m 5’8″ and I would have preferred another 2 inches. Otherwise, these are great if you’re under 5’6″. I recommend purchasing the Tall version, for my tall girls, and then cropping them yourself if they’re too long. I do this often with A&F jeans.

Lace Trim Cami – The cami’s from Abercrombie are the best! They fit great and feel more expensive than they are. I absolutely loved this grey one and almost took it home with me. I love how subtly sexy these are and they look great underneath baggy sweaters.
