The 4th of July is right around the corner, so let’s round up some outfit inspiration from none other than Old Navy!
Can y’all believe the 4th of July is only 2 weeks ago? How is that even possible?! I’m a little in shock myself, but I’m also excited about the celebratory festivities! In preparation for America’s birthday, I thought I’d share some affordable outfit inspiration from Old Navy.
For sizing reference, I’m 5’8″ with a pear-shaped frame. I’m currently a size 6/28/S-M.
Sleeveless Fit & Flare Jersey Midi Dress – This dress was so pretty and comfy which is a double whammy to have in your closet! The price is great and the fit is perfect – TTS.
Sleeveless Ruffle-Trim Button-Front Blouse – This top is very comfortable but note that it runs big. I’m wearing the small and it was too much fabric. I loved the flutter sleeve tho, and the buttons are functional. Comes in a few more colors; fit runs big.
Mid-Rise Boyfriend Distressed Denim Cut-Offs – These shorts are all kinds of yes! If you follow me on Instagram (username: joannealma) then you saw me wearing them all weekend long. They run a little snug, I sized up one. Note, they are short so if you have a bootie these are a little cheeky.
Faux-Leather Ankle-Strap Sandals – I really liked these sandals. They come in a cognac color that I would be interested to try out. I love the woven, netting and we all know that I love myself some ankle straps. Fit is TTS.
Tie-Neck Cutwork Blouse – Again, if you follow me on IG then you already saw me rave about this top. I am kicking myself for not snagging it. Such lightweight fabric and the detail is beautiful. Fit is TTS and it also comes in a mustard yellow.
Fit & Flare Gingham Cami Dress – I really liked this dress. The length was perfect and I loved the fact that it was fully lined. Note, the top portion is a little wonky. It was a little loose in the top but I didn’t try to adjust the straps which was possible. Fit is true to size.
Sleeveless Button-Front Cocoon Top – This is one of those tops every gal should have in her closet. A good, crisp white tank that can be paired with anything and everything. Comes in a few other clothes and fit is TTS.
Denim Jacket – I loved this jacket and the wash is perfect for this time of the year. I accidentally picked up a size XS, otherwise fit is TTS.
Wrap-Front Side-Tie Top – This top was so beautiful and reminded me of a Madewell version that currently out. It’s a true wrap top and has a clasp in the bust area which is great. I accidentally grabbed a large so it’s overflowing on me, otherwise fit is true to size.
Mid-Rise Twill Everyday Shorts – I was surprised at liking these shorts. The length is great for my modest gals. Note that it is a bit see through but wearing neutral undies would be fine. No need to size up, the material had stretch so fit was TTS.
Sleeveless Tie-Front Cami – I liked this top but the bust was fit funny. The straps are adjustable which I should have tried but I think it’s more suited for the smaller chested women.
Relaxed Flutter-Sleeve Textured Top – The color of this top is more of a red orange but gah it’s so pretty. It’s a linen material and the flutter detail is beautiful. It runs a bit big so I suggest sizing down.
High-Rise Secret-Slim Pockets Dip-Dye Rockstar Jeans – I snagged these jeans! I loved the wash, they are a fun twist to white denim. The fit was great, runs TTS.
