Now that the weather is warming up and my Saturday’s are being spent running around to soccer games, swim practices, and the park, denim shorts have become a wardrobe staple. But not just in the #momstyle aspect of it – although the perfect pair is ideal for the momma’s on the go – but because denim cutoffs are the equivalent of a great pair of jeans!

I recently picked up two pair of distressed cutoffs that are good dupes for the infamous Agolde shorts. They are both high-rise, but one has a 4″ inseam while the other is more Daisy Dukes style. I ended up returning the ladder because they were more ‘cheeky’ which I don’t prefer but I would recommend them if you’re fine with that. Just size up 1 size! I also tried these pair which are similar to the Abercrombie ones.

Anyway, here are 6 ways to style denim shorts for any occasion this spring and summer season!

This first look is perfect for running around on one of those cool morning days. Then you can take the cardigan off once it warms up! This blouse is so easy and lightweight, too! Top runs true to size.

I absolutely adore this look and will definitely be recreating it soon! I love how the distressed cutoffs play off the feminine and sweet details of the top. I recommend sizing one size on the top.

This is another great combo pairing the blazer and ripped up shorts for a fun contrasting outfit. This tank is so good and I love the linen material. It runs true to size, same goes with the nude ankle strap sandals that every gal should own.

Recreate the Look:

I restyled the shorts and the tank from the look above to create this look and I’m loving it! I added a fun pop with the leopard print flats (size up 1/2) and an easy crossbody bag. I could envision this outfit for sightseeing or brunch.

I love a great sweater tank and this one from last year is a forever keeper! I found a similar one from Target (linked) that look comparable but with a more modern cut which I love! These sandals are a steal at just $20! They run true to size.

Recreate the Look:

This last look is super casual and simple and that’s what makes me love it! This outfit would be great for running errands since the straw bag also has shoulder straps and the sandals are super comfortable! They run true to size. This tee is also great because the square neck elevates the otherwise basic tee – runs TTS.
