Styling an eyelet top five ways with the help of trusty old Target!
I know we’ve all gotten used to the way How to Style posts tend to go – me styling a trend or classic pieces various ways in the comfort of my own home – and while I’m fine with that format, I was in the need for a little variety. Bear with me here. For today’s style session, I’m bringing you 5 ways to style this adorable eyelet top – perfect for the spring and summer season – at my local Target using items currently in-stores! Not groundbreaking, I know, but different for me, LOL!
Eyelet is one of those perfect warm weather fabrics that just calls for rosè and the outdoors, am I right?! I love that it’s classic yet youthful – the ideal wardrobe must-have for this time of the year. Target recently released this beauty and I could not walk away without putting it in my cart. Here are FIVE ways to style this stunner for spring and summer!
For sizing reference, I’m 5’8″ with a pear-shaped frame. I’m currently a size 6/28/S-M.

A quick note about the eyelet top – does run big. I’m wearing a small and it’s roomy on me, I should have sized down to an XS. Also, this top also comes in navy blue!

How to Style an Eyelet Top
Look 1: I am loving this look and this skirt is everything! This would be ideal for a casual work environment, family cookout or brunch with girlfriends. Skirt runs true to size and espadrilles run half a size big.

Look 2: I feel like white/off-white monochromatic outfits are perfect for this time of the year! I love how the white eyelet pairs with the off-white button fly denim. The jeans run TTS – I’m wearing a 4 because they didn’t have my size in-store. Mules run tts, too.

Look 3: This was by far my favorite look! This polka dot skirt (a nod to Pretty Woman) is so darling! I also love how the oranges and cognacs play off each other – so summery!

Look 4: This is a very 70s outfit, don’t you think?! The flares fit tts I just wish they were a tad bit longer to wear with wedges. Otherwise, I love the wash and they had a little stretch to them.

Look 5: Is this not a cute resort look?! I feel like I should be taking a trip to the Carribean in this! I love how comfy these wide-leg pants were. I would recommend sizing down, I’m wearing a medium and could go down a size.
