Well, look who decided to blog! Man, apparently the mini vacay to Cancun kicked my butt, not to mention getting back into a routine is kinda difficult when you take back-to-back getaways. But I’m not complaining, this gal is LIVING HER BEST LIFE!

This past weekend, in celebration of Valentine’s Day, the hubby and I took our annual pilgrimage into the city for a night away. We typically do an entire weekend, but since we’re trying to save and be responsible adults, one day was all we could swing. I’m just happy for the intimate time away.

Anyways, let’s talk about the teddy bear coat trend, shall we? Gah, I am so happy that I snagged this one (on sale for under $60!) during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year. I wear it constantly and it’s legitimately warm! Cute and functional, just like I love my clothes!

I love that the trend comes in a variety of options. A teddy coat is versatile in the sense that you can pair it with any kind of attire, i.e. you can go for casual as well as a dressed up without skipping a beat. For instance, a teddy bear coat works well with a more casual look like leggings and a long tunic, or it can be styled over an evening look and not look out of place.
