You are getting a twofer, my friends! Express and H&M try-on right this way!
If you follow me on IG then a few weeks ago y’all saw that I shared a video of a recent mall trip where I did an Express try-on. I promised I’d publish a post with links to the available items…and then I didn’t. Well, here’s the post friends! And as a bonus, I’m excited to also be bringing y’all an H&M try-on! Continue reading for sizing info and my thoughts on quality!
For sizing reference, I’m 5’8″ with a pear shape frame. I’m typically a S/M up top, depending how I prefer the fit, and wear 6-8/M for bottoms.
Velvet Thermal Striped Crew Neck Pullover Sweater – Super warm and cozy. Fit is true to size, I’m wearing a small.
Funnel Neck Pullover Sweater – Something about mock-necks speak to me, however, this was a little too snug. The material had a bit of an itch but nothing too uncomfortable. The color was a beautiful brick red. Fit is true to size, wearing a small.
Striped Velvet Chenille V-neck Sweater – This was one of my favorite items to try on! The material was dreamy soft and the colors would be perfect for transitioning to spring. Fit is true to size.
Leopard Pullover Sweater – I almost went home with this sweater! The fabric was very cozy and warm and the print is everything! Fit a little snug, I’m wearing a small.
Oversized Tailored Knit Blazer – The exact coat I tried on I can’t seem to find online but the one linked is super similar! The emerald color was so beautiful!
Checkered Coat – Another item I can’t find online but I would suggest checking your local store! This jacket was so freakin’ good! I love the fit and the checkered pattern never goes out of style.
Mid Rise Rhinestone Studded Stretch Ankle Leggings – I figured I’d link these leggings that are similar to the jeans I’m wearing during the try-on. You can find those here, and my booties here.
Embroidered Heart Sweatshirt – I almost snagged this sweater, it was so darling, but I couldn’t find more than 1-2 ways to wear it with my existing wardrobe. The fit was great, a bit oversized, and the material was comfortable like a standard sweatshirt. Fit is TTS.
Heart Pattern-knit Sweater (in red) – Well if you follow me on social media and saw this post then you know I went home wtih this sucker! I absolutely adore the heart pattern and the material is cozy! Fit is true to size, I’m wearing a small.
Pattern-knit Sweater (in cream) – I also got this one! What, they were on sale so I managed to get both sweaters under $20! Again, fit is TTS, I went this a medium in this one for an oversized fit.
V-neck Buttoned Blouse – I really did like this blouse and have tried it on several times before, but I never manage you actually buy it. I think it’s because it’s a bit sheer. Otherwise, fit is true to size.
Tie-hem Top – This was another top I really loved! The material was a bit heavy but not sweater material. Fit is true to size, wearing a small.
