Culottes aren’t limited to the warmer weather months. Here are 9 ways to wear the style this Fall and Winter season!
Another edition of 9 Way to Wear is coming at ya hot! For this installment of the series I thought I’d tackle culottes for cold weather months. I tend to only wear the trend when it’s warmer outside but I’m learning that culottes don’t necessarily have a seasonal expiration date. All ya gotta do is add a few more layers and swap out the footwear and you’ve got yourself s a year around trend! And that’s a trend I can get behind;)
I broke it down to 3 different types of culottes, a classic denim pair, an off white pair and an olive/army green. I like that they all bring a different type of vibe to each outfit while still keeping to the culotte silhouette. I hope this post helps you think outside of the box when styling the trend and that it gives you tons of outfit inspiration!
Olive Green Culottes
Culottes | Similar Jacket | Similar Beanie | Mock Neck Tank | Sneakers
This is the perfect mom on the go outfit, if you ask me. It’s easy yet stylish and let’s not forget comfortable! I would wear this to run errands, to Remy’s basketball games, or for a work from home day.
Culottes | Similar Long Cardigan | Tank | Booties
I love the two-toned look of this outfit, I also love that it pulls from a Fall color palette. I tied the tank for a little intrigue but it could also be tucked in if you prefer that look. Sock booties to the rescue! These will keep your ankles warm while upping the style factor!
I’m really digging the slight balloon sleeve of this sweater, it ads a fun twist to an otherwise basic ensemble. I really wanted to pair the olive green with an unexpected color and love how the pink plays off the earth tone. This is a great look for the office.
White Culottes
Similar Culottes | Sweater | Booties
I just had to include a Winter Whites look, just had to, and I love how it turned out! Cozy and simple, just the way an all white wintry outfit is supposed to be.
Similar Culottes | Shirt | Mules
This look is great for holiday get-together’s because it’s festive without being over the top. I adore the delicate eyelet of the top paired with the culottes, it makes the outfit interesting. FYI – the shirt is on sale under $40!
Similar Culottes | Tee | Cardigan | Flats
Another excellent mom-on-the-go outfit! I’m really digging how the long cardigan pairs with the cropped culottes. This is another great ensemble to run around with the kiddo’s while still looking put together.
Denim Culottes
Similar Culottes | Tee | Vest | Booties | Similar Hat
I absolutely adore this look and actually wore something similar to Friendsgiving except with skinny jeans. This outfit would be great for momming, brunch with the girls or playing tourist in your own city. The possibilities are endless with this one!
Similar Culottes | Sweater | Cami | Similar Booties
Did someone say easy Fall date night because this ensemble would be perfect! You can just wear the sweater without the cami and add a little more sexy to the look, the v-neck goes deep. As a reference for this sweater, it runs small so I suggest sizing up. I’m wearing a large.
Similar Culottes | Blouse | Cardigan | Oxfords | Beret
This is a very “me” outfit – no rhythm or reason just some quarkiness! I like outfits that are a hodge podge of everything because they can be worn for whenever. This look is fun and unexpected, just how I like it!
