Sharing my most recent Fall try-on session from Abercrombie & Fitch!

If you would have told me that I would be shopping at Abercrombie as a 33 year old woman a few years ago, I would have laughed in your face. But damn, A&F has been knocking it out of the park lately! In high school the store was a little too preppy for my taste, and candidly it still is, but they’ve got some great everyday pieces that I’m loving. My favorite pair of distressed jeans (worn here and hereare from Abercrombie and it still blows my mind that I own items from there. I recently went into the store and did a little try-on session with some great Fall pieces. Read on to get my review of the items I tried on.

For sizing reference, I’m 5’8″ with a pear shape frame. I’m typically a S/M up top depending how I prefer the fit and wear 6-8/M for bottoms.

These style tops are big for Fall and Winter and I totally see why. How freaking comfortable and cozy do I look?! I really liked this top, it was roomy and easy, and it would be a great addition to my weekend mom wardrobe. Style Tip: this type of top looks great paired with high-waist denim. I think it runs a little big, I’m wearing a medium and could have probably sized down to the small. Comes in a few colors!

High Rise Ankle Jeans

Not gonna lie, I loved these jeans and I’m a little upset at myself for not getting them. The fit was great and they had the perfect amount of stretch without being too stretchy, if you know what I mean. I loved the distressed hem, it would pair perfectly with booties! These run true to size, I’m wearing a 6 in the regular length. For reference, the one’s I tried on are in the dark wash.

Short-Sleeve Button-Up Shirt

This shirt went home with me. I love the soft pink color and the style is very pajamas which is in right now. I am also a fan of the white pipping, what’s not to love. Fits true to size, wearing a small. Come in a few different patterns and colors.

High Rise Mom Jeans

The fit of these jeans were a little off. I get the mom jeans style but these ran weird. They are high-rise which was a good but the hem cut at a strange point on my leg. Maybe if I would have tried on a Tall it would have been different.

Open Front Cardigan

I love a good long cardigan, they’re a staple in my cold weather wardrobe and this one is a must-have! Very cozy and thick but not overpowering. This knit cardi is definitely a good find and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Runs true to size, wearing a small. Comes in cream too.

Ribbed Henley

I feel like a classic henley is a must during the Fall and Winter and this one is no exception! I absolutely loved that the sleeve length was suitable for this tall girl and the fit was great. I was also a big fan of the button details, which if you are breastfeeding they are functional buttons;) Wearing a medium.

Destroyed Denim Mini Skirt

This denim skirt is so cute, but I’m just not a denim skirt type of gal right now. The distressing makes it a little cooler than your average denim skirt and the raw hem is more trendy. I would recommend sizing up, I’m wearing a 28 and it was a little snug around the hips.

Oxford Shirt

This is probably one of the most perfect oxford shirts ever! The fit is a tad bit oversized and the look is so classic! The sleeves were long enough for my long arms even though I was wearing a small which is pretty great and the material was soft and light. The fit is true to size.

Front-Tie Button Up Shirt

I can’t find this exact one on line but I found the right style. I loved that this shirt was a tad oversized but it worked. I’m also digging the front-tie detail. I’m still kicking myself for not taking this top home with me. Fit is true to size.
