The last year has taught me a lot about my style. First off, it can change in the blink of an eye! It wasn’t that long ago that I despised the color pink, and now, it’s one of my favorite colors. To be clear, a light shade of pale pink is what I prefer but still, I would have never entertained the idea of anything pink within my wardrobe. If you’re a regular FabAve reader, you know I tend to stick to stripes or even gingham, and while I’ve dabbled in the florals department I wouldn’t consider myself sold on the print. Until now!

I absolutely adore how feminine and delicate this dress is! If I had to describe it in one word it would be sweet! It’s so airy and so delicate, and I feel like a freakin’ princess when I wear it. I may be far from being a royal but one can dream!

This is the time of the year that people tend to shy away from the pretty floral prints. As we transition into Fall, everyone is gravitating towards rich, jewel tones and lux, warm fabrics. Consider this your permission to break the rules and go full on girly with some floral goodness! Go ahead, I dare ya! I’ve gone ahead and rounded a ton of floral dress options under $40! These one’s are perfect come fall because they are more “moody” florals.

I’m traveling to Georgia next week for a work trip so I’m not sure how active I’ll be here on the blog.
