Contrary to popular belief, it’s still summer. Ironically enough, I made this very statement around this time last year in the throngs of bloggers posting about layered fall looks. I just can’t. I love my FabAve reader family but I am not willing to wear layers upon layers of clothes, in 85+ degree weather, for the sake of a blog post. My Dominican sweat glands wouldn’t allow it. I hope that y’all appreciate that I’m still wearing summer clothes, just like you are, as we continue on in the season that is actually summer. Can I get a here here?!

This look is actually from earlier this season. Palm print was something different that I wouldn’t normally gravitate to, but offered in jumpsuit form I’m really diggin’ it! Believe it or not, I was hesitant to snag this stunner. While I love how bold the pattern is, unfortunately it isn’t one that would transition well into any season other than summer. If you’ve been around these parts for any amount of time then you know how I feel about limited clothing items. Sure, coats are for winter and sandals are for summer, but actual clothing should work seamlessly year around. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it!

Anyways, I did hold on impulsively adding it to my closet when I first spotted this jumpsuit. I waited a full seven days before I ran back to my local Target and searched for it, only to find my size unavailable. Since I’m not one to online shop, which would have been the more responsible, reasonable thing to do, I snagged the size up (a large) and called it a day. What? I never claimed to be responsible OR reasonable, did I?
