I think we can all agree that I’m a beauty junkie. I love makeup, I love skincare – I LOVE IT ALL! But my first love will always be amazing drugstore finds. It’s where my love affair with makeup/beauty products started – roaming the isles of CVS after school, I would spend hours trying to decide what I wanted to spend my hard earned cash on, knowing full well that it would be items from the beauty department.

Here we are, years later, and I’m still that girl. I absolutely love finding the best of the best when it comes to affordable makeup and skincare products. Sure, I love a little splurge every now and again, but my heart will always be with drugstore beauty. I’ve always been a big fan of e.l.f cosmetics. From the tools (brushes, makeup pouches, facial cleansers, and more!), to the makeup (eyes, lips, and face – e.l.f), to the skincare – e.l.f. is running the game, offering cruelty-free products at an affordable price! What’s not to love?! Today I wanted to share a few recent skincare favorites from the brand – ALL UNDER $17!

Cleanse

First up is my favorite product of the bunch, the Gentle Peeling Exfoliant. This stuff is pure magic! It gently peels away dead skin without being overly harsh to the skin. Afterwards my skin is super smooth, brighter and glowy. For reference, I use the exfoliant twice a week. I’m also a fan of the Hydrating Bubble Mask. For under $15, this products (like all e.l.f. products) is free of parabens, sulfates and is vegan! The bubble mask is really hydrating when you first apply it to the face and after some time it transforms into a bubbly, foamy mask . I love that it remove excess dirt and cleanse pores, leaving my skin really clean.

Prep

After I hop out of the shower everyday I apply the Vitamin C Pollution Prevention Serum. Made with a ton of antioxidants, the serum helps protect the skin from environmental crap, and refines, and essentially brightens, skin tone. My next step before makeup application is to smear on the Prep and Hydrate Balm. This stuff is soo cooling! The balm is a water based hydrating primer stick that preps skin for makeup application. It’s made of shea butter, cocoa, aloe, and grape, which according to the internet is awesome for the skin.

Rejuvenate

After I’ve completed my nighttime cleansing regimen, I dab on the e.l.f Illuminating Eye Cream. This is another of the brand’s products that comes equipped awesome ingredients that are rich in antioxidants. Filled with jojoba, Vitamin E, purified water, and cucumber, this creme is super soothing, hydrating and refreshing on the delicate skin around the eye. Once all of my serums and creams are applied and I’m nice and cozy in my bed, I like to rejuvenate my skin with the Facial Messager. I love this little tool! It helps relieve tension and leaves my skin looking glowing and plump after a five minute roll.
