Thank goodness for Instagram Stories’ polls! I asked what Target collection y’all wanted to see in the next Shop With Me post and y’all answered with Who What Wear. Good choice, too, cause it’s my favorite! I seriously feel like the folks over at WWW can do no wrong when it comes to their collaboration with Target. I’ve been a fan of the partnership from the get and they haven’t really disappointed me yet. Here’s a look at their latest collection and my thoughts on each piece.
For size reference, I’m 5’9″ with a pear shape frame. I am typically a S/M up top and wear 8/10 on bottom.
Not pictured but purchased is this dress from the collection. I wish I would have snapped a pic?! But if you follow me on IG then you’ve seen the dress in action layered underneath a sweater for Valentine’s Day! I snagged it in the rose print.
Checkered Button-Up Tunic ($24.99)
I really wanted to love this – the black and white checks, the high-low hemline – it had all the makings of a closet staple. But somehow it looked wonky on me. I’ve seen other ladies rock this tunic effortlessly, I only wish I could have done the same. It’s so freaking cute! The fit is true to size – I’m wearing a medium. Comes in a stripe red print.
Floral Ruffle Sleeve Midi Dress ($32.99)
Another item I was really rooting for but just didn’t work out the way I wanted it to. I absolutely adore the print, it’s so perfect for spring! This would be a great contender for Easter Sunday! Fits true to size – I’m wearing a small here but probably should have gone up a size.
Polka Dot Ruffle Sleeve Midi Dress ($32.99)
The same style as the dress above with in a different print! I loved it enough to purchase however I’m having second thoughts. I may end up returning only for the reason that I’ve recently added two other black and white polka dresses into my wardrobe. In this print I went with my regular size – medium – and it worked better than the small.
Checkered Pick-Up Sleeve Top ($27.99)
I own a similar blouse, that I don’t really like, so I figured this top would be a wash however it was a pleasant surprise. The sleeves add a small dose of trendy whimsy that I liked more than I’d anticipated. This blouse would be great for spring. As far as fit goes – it was a little wonky. I’d say it fits true to size – I’m wearing a medium – but the body of the blouse is really boxy. Also comes in a blue stripe.
Tie Waist Blouse ($27.99)
Only after I looked this blouse up online did I noticed I had tied it incorrectly. It looks way cuter if tied properly. The ties are supposed to go around the body which would have made the blouse drape better on my body. The fit is true to size – I am wearing a medium. Come in a blue too.
Flounce Trim Sweatshirt ($27.99)
I REALLY liked this fun take on a sweatshirt! I didn’t purchase because I’m currently not adding to my winter wardrobe. However the material is soft but seemed like it might shrink in the wash, as a warning. I was going for a more fitted sweatshirt so I’m wearing a small here.
Checkered Ruffle Pencil Midi Skirt ($27.99)
I loved this skirt and I knew I would. I own a very similar version with as shorter hem (seen here). This would be great for women that hold a corporate 9-5 because it’s office appropriate yet fun! The fit is great but runs small – I normally wear an 8 but had to size down to a 6. Also comes in red!
Mixed Lace Pull-Over Top ($29.99)
I really liked this top – the sleeves alone made it super cute! As a note, the material was a bit stiff and the fit was a little boxy, otherwise it fit true to size – I’m wearing a medium. It comes in white too!
Relaxed Stripe Crop Pants ($32.99)
Another piece I really wanted to like because you can’t have enough cropped pants, but sadly it was a no go. I think the issue is the space between the waist and the crotch – a little more space would have been nice. It seemed smooshed and the material pulled. I considered sizing up but the waist was then too big. My butt could have made the fit a little snug, lol. Not sure how I would recommend sizing but I’m wearing an 8 for reference.
Ruffle Neck Mini Dress ($34.99)
I had high hopes for this dress because I’d seen tons of bloggers rocking it but it didn’t work for me. First of all, it was far too short. Like one wrong move and you’d see my hoo-ha!? In theory it would be super cute but if you’re on the modest side you won’t like this. Fits true to size, I’m wearing a medium.
Tie Sleeve Midi Dress ($36.99)
Gah, this dress was so cute and would be perfect for spring. This would also work for the office because it was lined and not see through. As a note, the fabric is a little stiff. This dress fit true to size – I’m wearing a medium. It also comes in an adorable rose print.
