Company holiday party or happy hour on the horizon and not sure what to wear? Today I’m specifically talking to the gal not comfortable sporting a cocktail dress – I’ve got you covered! Sure, you can wear the standard black trousers with a fancier blouse or a statement jacket, but today, friends, we’re focusing on pants. Here are a few tips and tricks on busting out the holiday glam with some fancy pants!

First off, regardless of if you’re making a major statement or keeping things a bit more conservative, you want to make sure you choose a sleek pair of pants that fit your frame well. What I love about these pair is that they fit me like a glove! The perfect fit around my waist yet an ideal straight leg, and the amount a stretch is pure magic!

Secondly, find a fabric that add whimsy! What do I mean by this? Opt for luxe fabrics that are a little nicer than the everyday dress pants. Think velvet, lace, brocade or even satin. I love that the whimsy in this pair comes from the gold, almost metallic, print. So freakin’ fun! Another quick tip – deep, rich jewel tones are another great option especially during the holidays.

Since I went with a bold print I decided to keep my accessories and the top portion of my look subtle. However, I kept the look luxe and had fun mixing fabrics! I added this velvet cami and this chanille cardigan because it’s a little extra, and gals, that’s just what I was going for!
