Who say’s you can’t wear florals beyond the Spring and Summer seasons, not this gal! The print isn’t meant to be seasonally restricted but most people tend to keep florals around only for the warmer months and put them away come Fall and Winter. But florals can make a statement all year around, too! This Fall I’m going to make it my mission to wear floral prints well into to Winter and here’s the first look in my journey!

While my overall look makes a statement with the bold, sunny yellow punch of color, if you take a good look you’ll notice that I kept the floral print low key. I love this dress because it’s loud without going overboard. The last time I wore this dress, in the Spring, I apparently had Fall on the mind because that outfit would look perfect for this time of the year too. This time around I paired it with my trusty long cardigan for lighter Fall inspired look.

And these booties, which already seem to be sold out online but here’s a pretty close dupe, have been current favorites. Like, I wear them every damn day! They are comfortable and the most perfect neutral booties, I’m kicking myself for not snagging the black pair too. #RookieMove. To finish off my look, I grabbed my go-to crossbody bag and voilà!
