Rehoboth Beach

Since we’ve officially said farewell to August (how did that happen?!), I thought I’d finally share a few snaps from our family day trip to the beach a few weeks ago. It was exactly what we ALL needed – the misty air, the sand between our toes, the salty water – it was perfection. I plan on reliving that day when I’m feeling down because it was just that good. The kids even behaved themselves enough for me to enjoy the trip, now that’s a total mom win.

It was our first beach visit as a family. Both Remy and Theo never experienced the beach so I was nervous for how they’d react to the sand, the waves and all that comes with it. Luckily, the kids loved it! It was as if it were their second home. Remy squealed with joy as the waved crashed against her body and Theo ate enough sand to build his own mini sandcastle. I was oddly a more relaxed version of myself on this particular day so I let the children live there best lives. #YOLO.
