I asked via social media whether y’all would want to see another Shop With Me post and I got yes’ all around! I’m so happy you enjoy these types of posts because I like putting them together. While I may not buy everything that you see in these posts, it does give me a better sense of what’s out there and what’s trending, which essentially helps me figure out ways to style similar pieces I’ve already got stocked in my closet. I hope that this series allows you to do the same, and if you have the budget to snag some of these pieces yourself great! Now let’s get to it.
For size reference, I’m 5’9″ with a pear shape frame. I am typically a S/M up top and wear 8/10 on bottom.
GAP Boatneck Dress $49.95
I had been stalking this dress ever since I saw a fellow blogger wear it in her feed but wasn’t really feeling the $50 price tag. I’m cheap so I decided to pass on this one until I saw that GAP was having a 30% off sales on their dresses and I was able to snag this one for $22! I can’t express how necessary an easy stripe, knit dress is great for the Fall and Winter time. Pairs perfectly with booties and riding boots and layers like a dream! This one is really comfortable and the length is great for tall girls. For reference, I am wearing a size extra small so I definitely suggest sizing down.
GAP Gathered Waist Dress $49.95
So in my search for the dress above I stumbled upon this one. But I’m really happy I did! Again, I got this one on sale for $22 too. Very comfortable and essential for me because I live for gray jersey dresses. The gathered details is fun, slimming and on trend. Regarding sizing I’m not sure what I’d recommend. I’m wearing a size small but by the images online has it styled baggier than I do, so I guess runs true to size because I’m sure a medium would have been fine.
GAP Pencil Skirt $59.95
I had really high hopes for this skirt, but in all honesty, if it would have worked I don’t think I would have forked over $60 for a skirt. It was far more wearable and comfortable than I had anticipated but the button down seam created a peep show affect and ain’t no one got time for that. I am wearing a size 8 here.
GAP TENSEL Pleated Trousers $59.95
If you work in an environment where you have to dress professionally often, I highly suggest these pants. I love the menswear inspired look and the cropped hem add a little femininity to the style. These come in three colors: gray, black and a dusty pink. I am wearing a size 8 for reference.
Old Navy Graphic Boyfriend Tee $14.99
I really liked this tee and love how it paired with these culottes but it was a little too sheer for my liking. The fit, however, was generous since it is a boyfriend tee. I am wearing a size small here. *For those interested, this tee was on sale in-store for $9.99 so check your local Old Navy.
Old Navy Loose-Fit Shirt $26.99
Not sure what sale was going on in-store when I snagged this shirt because I scored it for $19.99. I love the boxy shape and appreciate that it’s lightweight but not sheer. This is another great item for women that are required to dress up for work. I am wearing a size small.
H&M Stripe Culottes $49.99
I had no issue paying full price for these because they are my culotte dreams! Great for dressing up but also can be styled more casually. I love the volume of these pants and that they look like a skirt at first glance. The print is super fun yet still neutral. I also love that these are REALLY high-waist so it pairs nicely with crop tops without showing any skin. For reference, I am wearing a size 8.
