I’m not gonna lie, I was a bit hesitant to jump on the Adidas bandwagon. I consider myself a Converse gal through and through, so jumping ship felt like I as abandoning an old friend. Heck, I have at least six pair to my name! But something about the Superstars felt real nostalgic and took me back to my middle school/high school days. See, before I wore my trusty old Converse I had a love affair with Adidas Superstars.

Back in the day they were perfect for tall girls because they didn’t add too much height, so I was sold! Now, as a 30-something mom, I love them because they are super comfortable! Like, I want to wear them every freakin’ day comfortable. I’ve been trying to find new ways to style them up from ‘everyday casual’ to something a little different. Hey, we’re about versatility ‘round these parts! Anyway, despite their athletic feel, I figured pairing them with a jersey midi dress might be fun. Then I thought I might as well pull a whole 90s look and add a tank underneath to bring the look full circle.

You wanna know what, I don’t hate this look – I actually LOVE it! If this look doesn’t bring you back I don’t know what will! I was super comfortable all day and felt like running after the kids in a dress didn’t cause quite so much fuss because everything felt so pajama-like (this dress is one of the most comfy dress I own.
