Happy Monday! I managed to have a post up, so I think we can all agree that I’m winning for the day. A few things – I’m still trying to make my maternity denim shorts work. I really don’t want to have to try on and buy new shorts so I’m just working with what I’ve got. There are a few pre-pregnancy shorts I can squeeze my big behind into but these maternity pair are saving my life right now. They may be a little big in the waist area but you’ve gotta take the good with the bad sometimes. #LifeLessons

Another thought – If you haven’t noticed, I’m not the biggest fan of the off-the-shoulder (OTS) trend. It’s the one summer fad I haven’t gotten on board with. I really don’t know how moms wear them!? i don’t have time to adjust my shirt every five minutes. Just keeping it real here, folks! Instead, I’ve opted for cold shoulder tops, like this one. Basically the same effect with the comfort and functionality the OTS trend is missing. I’ve linked to a few of my favorites, below, all under $55! Lastly – denim and denim is one of my love languages. It just has to be, it gives me ALL THE FEELS! Especially when it’s the combo of a light denim and an indigo wash denim. This pairing screams summer for me!
