I already forewarned you that cropped, wide leg jeans are my new jam so it should be no surprise that this may be one of my favorite outfits of all time! I’m stepping out of my style comfort zone here, folks, so bear with me as I wax poetic to an item of clothing. The crisp white denim, the bright, cheery color + my new favorite bag and sandals? I’m telling ya, favorite outfit!

Also known as culottes, the cropped, wide leg pants trend is forging on well into Summer, and I’m not mad about. I’ve already given you tips on how to wear the trend ,and as you can tell I took my own advice. Tucked blouse – check; longer length hem to suit my pear shaped, curvy bottom half – check; heeled footwear – albeit modest check! One tip I didn’t include in my how-to post? OWN THE LOOK! I told y’all, this silhouette is something I’m not accustom to so you better believe I’m going to own it! It’s all about confidence and the way you carry yourself, so with a little added self-love let’s start the week off right!
