One of my favorite things about fashion is that it allows you to be anyone that you want to be. Girl boss, flower child, edgy rock chic – I love the feeling of transformation! The continuous challenge of finding my own personal style through different sartorial eras and trends can be taxing at times but, candidly, helps me curate items that truly represent me. That’s why I really love this outfit, because it offers up a different look than what I’m used to but still has my ‘essence’ if you will. I’ve been on a real red kick lately, and have been adding pops of red here and there to satisfy my need for the shade in my everyday outfits. This statement jacket made itself at home in my closet real quick and has been in constant rotation – from church to the office to errands around Target – this jacket has gone with me everywhere!

Fashion and style is what you make it. There are really no hard and fast ‘rules’ if, at the end of the day, you feel amazing!
