I don’t want to prematurely proclaim that winter is over, but folks, I’m pretty sure winter is over. If you weren’t convinced climate change is an issue I bet this weekend changed your mind. Man was it a warm few days and I’m not necessarily complaining. It felt great to ditch the outerwear and spend most of the long weekend outside. And judging by the forecast we aren’t dipping below 50, in my neck of the woods, for the next week. Shall I switch out my winter wardrobe for my spring/summer one? Ah, maybe I’ll hold tight for a few more weeks.
Until then tho, this dress is a great transitional piece. The fabric is light weight but allows for layering, yet the color keeps it seasonally appropriate. A win win all around! I actually wore this outfit for Valentine’s Day dinner with the fella. I figured it was time to let the gams out since no kids were in tow. And the fact that it was the first night out since before Theo was born – y’all it was needed! Now if only we can get another one in the books…
