BOXYCHARM Review & Unboxing – February 2017

Will You Be My Galentine? was February’s theme and this month’s box came packed with tons of quality goodies! I remember last year’s Feb. box being rather mediocre (why I said otherwise, is beyond me) so I was rather pleased to be completely head over heels with this month’s box. Read on for details.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Cream (full size – $79) This stuff is GOLD! I’m upset with the fact that this product won’t last forever and there will come a day when I’ll have to decide if i want to shell out $80 to replenish my stash, but until then I can’t say enough great things about this product! Such finely milled beads that leave the skin supple and almost new.

Makeup Geek Eye Shadow Pans x2 (full size – $12) I received the shades “Bitten” and “Tan Lines” and I’m over the moon that BOXYCHARM included more MG shadows! The quality is ridiculous and the pigment is bar none, it goes without saying that I’m obsessed. “Tan Lines” is the perfect transitional shade for the crease and “Bitten” is a deep cranberry shade perfect for the chilly weather.

Royal & Langnickel Omnia Eye Kit (full size – $29.98) I love a good shadow brush so when I saw two quality brushes in this month’s box I was rather impressed. One of the brushes is for precise application along the lash line (which by the way, I needed in my arsenal) and the other is great to apply shadows all over the crease.

RealHer Moisturizing Lipstick (full size – $18) So initially I was really excited about this product, especially the shade (in the shade “Mauve”) but it turns out that I’m allergic to one of the ingredients. Mind you I’m only allergic to latex (that I know of) but my lips puff up immediately and become irritated and chapped for days.

Z Palette (small – $14) Perfect to store my new Makeup Geek shadows, this Z palette can hold up to 9 standard sized round pans and is exclusive to BOXYCHARM.

Total box value: $152.98

Well done, BOXYCHARM, you can give yourself a pat on the  back for this month’s box! This will probably go down as the best box of products I’ve received from the beauty box service to date. Other than the lipstick, ever item is great and the quality is stellar. 5 out of 5 stars, without a doubt!
