BOXYCHARM Review & Unboxing – December 2016

Can we take a second to cope with the fact that this is the last BOXYCHARM Review & Unboxing of the year?! Where has the time gone? For the last box, subscribers were sent products that were ‘On Pointe’ for the ballerina themed box. Here’s what came inside…

butterLondon Nail Lacquer (full size – $15) I LOVE this polish color and have always been a big fan of butterLondon’s formula so I was excited to see this in the box.

Iby Beauty Liner (full size – $14) While I love the color unfortunately I am not a fan of wooden lip liners. The formulas are never great and they don’t glide on as easily as retractable liners.

Makeup Eraser Makeup Removing Cloth (mini – $12) I’m not the biggest fan of this ‘eraser’ cloth because I don’t think it does the job quite like my perfected products of choice but I do like it for exfoliating purposes.

Pure Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette (full size – $50) Some of the shadows are creamy and with tons of pigment, but most are a little chalky and don’t have much color payoff so I’m going to have to vote this product a dud. I like that this palette comes equipped with a lot of metallic shades but they come off dull upon application. I wish it had a few matte colors.

Ofra Metallic Liquid Lipstick (full size – $19.90) I really love Ofra products, especially their lip products, but this liquid lipstick (in the shade ‘Queens’) is just not wearable. Sorry but I’m not going to be walking around with a metallic deep purple lip, that’s not my style.

Total box value: $110.90

In my opinion, this box was mediocre. While the quality of products were okay I don’t they all appealed to me quite like other months. I think the palette was over priced for the value and wish the liquid lipstick was in a different shade, but all in all, BOXYCHARM knocked it out of the park this year in general!
