This is what Remy and I wore for our family photos a couple weeks ago! I love how the black and white patterns play off each other and bring a cohesiveness to the overall looks. As far as coordinating outfits for our holiday cards, I personally think I knocked it out of the park! Don’t you?

These pictures capture Remy’s personality perfectly! They don’t hide her sass or sweetness and perfectly reflect her character. She’s my little powerhouse. When I found out I was pregnant with Remy, I instantly told myself that I would encourage my children to embrace any weirdness they might possess. As parents I think that we want to raise our children to be respectful, polite and some semblance of normal, whatever that may mean. But given that I’m a little off my rocker, I knew any offspring I brought into this world were bound to be a little peculiar. Sure, I’ll urge my tiny spawn to be prim and proper but more importantly I’d want them to march to the beat of their own drum, whether it’s a ‘normal’ beat or a little off. As Ms. Monroe once said, “Normal is boring!”
