Get the Look:

As of Monday my maternity leave is over. I don’t quite know how I feel about that. On the one hand, I’m sad I don’t get to spend my days cuddling up with my little guy. Watching him sleep, play and coo. On the other hand, I’m eager to get back to adult interaction. Feeling valued to more than just tiny humans. It’s all really a toss up.

It will be a big adjustment, going back to work and trying to get back into the swing of things. Catching up on work I missed and integrating myself back into the fold will be an interesting feat. All while functioning on little sleep, mind you. In an attempt to ease my way into things I’m working part-time hours until early December. Thank goodness for that! That will be my saving grace for the next few weeks.

On a completely separate note, stay safe America. The sun will rise in the morning, we’ve just got to be patient.
