BOXYCHARM Review – July 2016

If you recall my review of last month’s box you know how disappointed I was about the quality and selection of the products sent to subscribers. For the month of July however, BOXYCHARM stepped up their game – not completely blowing me out of the water but I am far more impressed with this July’s box than I was with June’s. Let’s dive into the box!

  • NOYAH Lip Gloss (full size – $16) I’m not big on lip glosses so I feel like I can’t really attest to this one being absolutely amazing but its good for what it’s worth. Made without parabens or sulfates, it has great pigment and shine without being overly glossy or sticky.
  • PYT Hair Oil Treatment (full size – $30) I haven’t tried this product yet but I’m excited for the promise of frizz free properties. From its consistency this product seems to work as a dry oil to add shine.
  • OFRA Professional Magnetic Palette + 4 Shadows (full size – $59) – Exclusive to BOXYCHARM, OFRA has done it again with a good size magnetic palette AND six shadows! Four out of the six shadows I really like but I especially love the palette. I’m already using it to house a few other random shadow pans I had laying around.
  • MALLY Beauty Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner (full size – $18) For a high-end product the quality was not stellar. The color I received was ‘Carribean Sea’ which is a metallic sea-foam green – that alone didn’t do it for me. Will definitely be passing this product on.

Total box value: $123

I’d give this box an A for effort! This month’s products weren’t all definite winners but they did send some quality products which I can appreciate.
