A couple weeks ago I shared a shopping wish list for Baby Boy Mason and it got me thinking about the style rules I abide by when I dress Remy. I try to keep her wardrobe fairly neutral with the inclusion of a few girly pieces here and there for special occasions. But for the everyday school day I tend to keep her wardrobe comfortable and practical. Below are a few of the rules of thumb I follow:
- Remy rarely wears jeans. I feel like they are constricting and don’t allow for the movement that an almost three year old needs in her wardrobe. I opt for denim jeggings instead.
- I steer clear of piece that have glitter of any kind. I’m not a friend of glitter fall out.
- I’m not a big fan of sequins appliques either. I think it’s too scratchy for her skin – or mine.
- Cotton is our best friend! Breathable fabric is necessary, as well as fabric that launders easy.
So without further adieu, here are a few piece I’ve added to Remy’s summer wardrobe (items 1,7, and 9) and a few that I’m itching to include!
