BOXYCHARM Review – May 2016

It’s
that time again, boys and girls, for another BOXYCHARM review
and unboxing
! This month’s theme was very appropriate for the season –
Spring Vibes – and the box was chalk full of products perfect for the season! So
let’s not waste any time here and get to the contents of the box, shall we?

  • MakeUp Geek Blush (full size – $15) This by far was the most highly anticipated
product of the box this month. The formula is buttery soft and the pigment is
on point! A little goes a very long way! I have been using this blush everyday
since its arrival. For those wondering, I received mine in the shade XOXO.
  • PUR Double Ego-Duo
    Ended Eyeliner

(full size – $21) Surprisingly enough,
I’m a fan of this product. I tend to go without eyeliner for my everyday look,
but if I do delve into my liners, I opt for browns. This one jet black and liquid
liner end helps create super easy winged liner looks! The mineral pencil side
is great for everyday wear because of the formula which also has some light
    glitter to it.
  • The BrowGal Clear
    Brow Gel

(full size – $15) This eyebrow gel
holds like a boss! It seals and protects brows so well – I’m excited to have
this product on-hand for the summer humidity.
  • Starlooks Luxe Lip
    Liner

    (full size – $19.50) I’m pretty sure
    this product/shade is in collaboration with BOXYCHARM. The formula is very creamy;
however I don’t think the shade suits my completion. My shade came in Charmed.
  • Ella + Mila Nail
    Polish

(full size – $10.50) Certified by
PETA, this polish is very fast drying. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the mint
    pastel color I received.
  • Catherine Malandrino Romance de Provence Deluxe Mini Sprayer (travel – $20) Gotta say, I’m already fed up of getting perfumes in my box. What is this, Birchbox? Also, they all smell the same.

Total box value: $106

I’d give this box a 7 out of ten. Definitely some stand out products but overall it was just okay.  Don’t forget, if you’d like to subscribe to the beauty boxy service, click here.
