How to Style

About that Plaid

Last week’s plaid debut made today’s post just
a little easier to write! There are so many ways to wear the infamous seasonal
print that I figured sharing the different ways to rock plaid/buffalo check was
only natural! From tunics, to vests, to the notorious blanket scarf, here are a
few way to style up plaid this Fall/Winter season. And as a bonus, I’ve also
included a few fab pieces from around the inter-webs.

The Plaid Dress/Tunic

An excellent piece to have in your closet, the plaid dress/tunic wears well for a day of apple picking with tall boots, or for a festive flare in a casual work environment.

The Blanket Scarf

This seasonal staple made a big splash two years ago and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon. I advise picking yourself a scarf or two, and there’s only one rule – the bigger the better!

The Plaid Puffer Vest

Puffer vests are pretty big this time of the year, why not make your next one plaid? I scored this one last year and can’t wait to wear it this Fall/Winter season.

The Plaid Coat

I’m so happy this coat has entered my closet because it’s light enough for Fall but still pretty heavy duty for the colder months. Not to mention, can you imagine this stunner layered underneath a leather jacket? YASSS!

The Buffalo Plaid Shirt

If nothing else, a buffalo plaid shirt is a must for the Fall/Winter season. Dressed up, dressed down – it just works.

The Plaid Boyfriend Shirt

Oversized and roomie for a crisp Fall day, the plaid boyfriend shirt is just what’s needed when you don’t want to put effort but still want to be festive.
