Soon enough we’ll be approaching cooler weather
(here’s hoping it’s sooner rather than
later!), which means much of our Spring and Summer wardrobe get’s packed
away to sit in storage or the back or our closets. But those pieces don’t have
to go unnoticed for the cooler months, in fact, Fall is the perfect time to
utilize much of our warm weather wardrobe. Today I’ll be sharing a few tips for wearing Spring and Summer staples during the Fall.
- Pairing your warmer weather
pieces, like sundresses and shorts, with transitional items like cardigans,
light sweaters, military jackets, and vests is a super easy way to make summer staples wearable through Winter. - For
springy floral dresses, simply pull from the colors represented and pair with
complementary pieces in the same color pallet. - Nix
the bright colors and instead grab you neutrals (think gray and camel), darks (black
and navy) and jewel tones (mustard,
maroon, jade). - Let’s not forget scarves! Scarves serve two purposes – they are an added
layer of warmth and an add layer
of personal style!
